SA Techie Tots is a home-based, drop-off learning pod.

This class meets one day a week, year-round, with holiday breaks. Choose either Wednesday or Friday.
Our Science & Social Skills combo course combines engaging science enrichment with intentional social-emotional learning. Students explore a wide range of STEM topics through hands-on experiments, monthly field trips, and exciting Techie Projects designed to build scientific knowledge and critical thinking. They learn to "think like a scientist" by asking questions, testing hypotheses, and exploring real-world concepts in physics, biology, engineering, and Earth science—including authentic experiences like dissections. This is far more than "edutainment" or simply playing with slime. Students also develop friendships while building emotional intelligence, coping skills, and conflict resolution strategies through the Little SPOT curriculum in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Lessons are tailored by age, with younger learners (ages 4–7) exploring foundational science concepts and older learners (ages 8–12) diving deeper into scientific topics and discovering STEM career pathways. Real, actual coding! Not just playing Minecraft! Our Coding & Companions class teaches kids all the foundational skills necessary to learn how to code with programming languages, including Scratch, MakeCode, and Python. This class starts with screen-free coding concepts, including sequence, loops, and logic. Our interactive games and activities make learning fun and engaging, without a screen! As the students learn these critical thinking skills, they will move into block-based coding on laptops. We use a project-based curriculum to bring out the students' creativity. Upon mastering block-based coding, the students will develop text-based coding skills, including Python. Students will also delve into artificial intelligence and digital citizenship. See more.

This class introduces students to the exciting world of drone technology through hands-on learning, indoor flight practice, and real-world STEM applications. Designed to build future-ready learners, this beginner-friendly class teaches students how to fly drones safely and confidently while developing hand-eye coordination, problem-solving abilities, and new technical skills. Students will learn the science of flight, basic aviation principles, aerodynamics, drone components, aerial photography, and the many careers that use drones—from agriculture and engineering to filmmaking, mapping, environmental research, public safety, and more. Safety is at the heart of every lesson as students learn responsible piloting, FAA flight regulations, and prepare to pass the FAA's TRUST (The Recreational UAS Safety Test). Along the way, they'll complete engaging STEM challenges, practice flying in a safe indoor environment, and build lasting friendships with other homeschool students who share their curiosity for technology, exploration, and discovery.
